Potrero Hill’s Trusted
Auto Repair Shop

“Andy has been working on my cars since 2013. I have followed him from 2 prior locations watching his exceptional business grow. He has earned my trust to the point I have recommended him to my family. He tells you what you need to repair now, versus what you need to do in the future. He's honest, and that's the reason I've gone back for 11 years. He has great prices, and he's transparent in his cost. He will let you know when to let go of a car, and not just make it a money pit. He runs an excellent shop.”

“Andy has been my trusted mechanic for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest in all he does. Those are qualities that are very hard to find these days in a mechanic. I have peace of mind knowing my car is always in good hands. He always goes the extra mile to make sure my car is safe to drive. I would highly recommend 415 Mechanix to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest mechanic.”

“The stick shift of my Smart car was stuck and everyone said I probably need a new transmission. I contacted 415 Mechanix and Andy said to leave my car overnight. Next morning he called and said it was very simple — there was too much sand inside the stick shift that only needed vacuuming. He could have easily lied and said I needed a new transmission. SUPER HONEST, efficient and fast.”

“Andy was an absolute godsend! As a woman I typically worry about the quality of service and honesty I'll receive from a mechanic. Andy treated me like family and was able to get my car back to me within a few hours! His expertise is unmatched. Truly happy to have found a reliable and cost-effective mechanic that I can trust!”

“10 stars if I could! 415 Mechanix has been maintaining my BMW, Honda, and Hyundai for over 10 years! Never had an issue! Best prices in California! I refuse to take my car anywhere else! I've recommended all my friends and family here and they go routinely!”

“I have been taking our cars to Andy for the last 3 years and he has never let us down. Very competitive prices for the area, super experienced and knowledgeable, and he does excellent reliable work in a timely manner. He also communicates well and makes sure you are in agreement before proceeding. 100% would recommend.”

“I've taken my car to Andy multiple times and can't imagine trusting anyone else with my car. He's knowledgeable, very trustworthy and super responsible. He goes above and beyond to make sure he takes care of anything your car needs and doesn't rush through the work.”
